Greene County was not the only area of the country hit by an
international telephone scam designed to drain the bank accounts of the

Malone Elected Airport Authority Chairman
Janet Malone was elected chairman of the Greeneville-Greene County Airport Authority on Thursday morning.
Malone, whose election was unanimous, will succeed Dr. Don Henard, who died in May after suffering a heart attack.
